Troop Meeting 23/02/08

So on the very next day after Founder's day, we had another Troop Meeting.

Patrol in charge was Kian Min's patrol, who only planned the first half and improved the second half somehow. The First part was building a mobile fire. We were split into two patrols.

First, we were required to build a small fire which could be moved quickly up towards the small patch of land beside Block D while going up the Stairway, then we had to burn away some rafia strings with our fire on the ground and finally, the Fire had to last for 10 minutes without anymore wood. So we then proceeded...

Wai Yew and Kar Sing moving Patrol 1's fire...

Adrian and Me also moving Patrol 2's fire...

So after a frantic race, Patrol 1 won because Kian Min had setup some weird and somewhat chaotic tripwire up the stairwell; Which Patrol 2 managed to navigate until someone's hand got too tired and the fire slipped. So Patrol 2 had to rebuild...

Needless to say Patrol 1 one the first part...

So after the fire came the most "Important" activity of the day... Which is Sir Tuck Loong's lecture. Basically said a LOT of things, not to mention Kin Meng getting screwed over and over and over and over and over... well, you get the idea...

So, an HOUR later after the first activity, Kian Min was still frantically looking for another activity for us to do. Lucky for him this Scout from Perak came and bought him some time to think because he was promoting his campfire in June.

So finally, Kian Min had a 'brilliant' idea, which was too make us build a Tripod, blindfolded. This time he said that whoever build the fastest would win so Patrol 2 was eager for a comeback.

Khai Sern, Me, Jin Hwei and Adrian building the Tripod while blindfolded while Emily directed us.

In the end, Patrol 2 made a stunning comeback, finishing the entire structure in around 10 or so minutes while the other Patrol was still struggling with their side supports. By the time Patrol 1 finished, Patrol 2 was all 'lepak-ing' around waiting for them.

But of course, somehow due to Kian Min's brain not working properly, he not only did not specify that the Tripod must stand the entire weight of everyone in that Patrol, but whoever take down the fastest later would win. Which is pretty unfair for Patrol 2 in a way...

So then we took photos of our blindfolded masterpieces...

Patrol 1 & 2 posing... with Kian Min doing a split for no reason... or is there...

So afterwards, it was time to go for Flag Break, then of course, the 'scene' happened... (See the post: We have lift off.)

That is all.
